RADIO READING SERVICE
In June 2011, the Recording Library of West Texas inaugurated its radio station for the blind. The only station of its type between I-35 and El Paso, RLWT Radio brings elegible listeners within a 50 mile radius local news, grocery ads, books, magazines, health-related programming and more.
In October we launched Connections, a locally-produced program featuring people of interest from around the region. We began a Texas book series in November, utilizing the archvied books our volunteers originally recorded for the Texas Talking Book Program.
