SERVICES
The Recording Library of West Texas serves those who have visual, physical or learning disabilities. We provide professional quality recorded books to individuals, book clubs and schools. These audio books become the property of the client, a permanent personal library. We have a library containing over 1000 professionally recorded audio books available to loan to our clients at no charge. We also loan these audio books to the public for a small annual fee. Listeners may choose from titles on file or request that materials be recorded. Recordings are available on cassette or CD.
We provide 50% of the books produced yearly for the Texas State Library Talking Book Program We also record Texas Monthly magazine for distribution through the TBP. We sign up clients for the program and teach them to use the equipment and services.
We also record lessons for those who attend Sunday school and Bible study groups.
To request a recording of specific materials, please contact us at 432-682-2731 or e-mail book4blind@recordinglibrary.org
